lincolnshire masonic
golfing association
Formed in 1922, the Lincolnshire Masonic Golfing Association holds competitions throughout Lincolnshire, raising money for charity.
Since 2023, we’ve raised over £5,00 for charity in Lincolnshire, something we’re very proud of.
Welcome
The Association plays several events throughout the year including a Spring, Summer and Autumn event where there are 5-6 trophies to play for, along with a Mixed Am-Am and some inter-Province competitions. Golfers who are not Freemasons (men and ladies) are very welcome at our Open Events event and there’s a prize for them too.
We’ve been around for just over 100 years now, one of our most famous founder members being
Colonel Stafford Vere Hotchkin, who remodelled the Woodhall Spa golf course in the 1920’s,
since known as the ‘Hotchkin’ course.
On the 11th August 2023, we celebrated our centenary with a special event at Seacroft Golf Club, Skegness and with the help of golfing Freemasons, their golfing guests and Freemasons’ lodges, we managed to to raise just over £5,000 for charity, taking our total raised for charity to over £50,000.
In 2025, the final year of our ‘5 year fundraising festival’, we are looking to stage another event at Seacroft. With your help we are hoping to make it as successful as the 2023 event – watch our for details!
Why not come and play with us at one of our regaular events (visitors are very welcome to enter too), come along and meet some new friends and enjoy some of Lincolnshire’s finest courses – you’ll be very welcome. Our fixtures for 2025 will be announced in February 2025.
