Do I have to be a freemason to play in the competitions?

As the name of the association suggests, most of our competitions are for  Freemasons who are golfers. However, we do have some competitions which are open to guests – typically our mixed betterball competition which ladies and non male Freemasons can enter. Your golfing partner will need to be a Freemason.

Are there any Handicap restrictions?

Anyone with a valid WHS Handicap can enter and play for the Trophies off a maximum of 28 for men and 36 for ladies. Non-WHS handicapped players can also enter and play for a separate prize. Certain trophy competitions can only be won by Freemasons, but there will be a prize for non-Freemasons.

is there an age limit?

Our Trophy competitions are open to Freemasons of any age. In certain competitions there are separate prizes for other categories such as Guests and Juniors where appropriate.
